Hi! I’m Andrés Zapata, also known as Andy Woodz. I’m a singer-songwriter, illustrator, and communicator originally from Medellín, Colombia. Over the years, I’ve learned to tell stories through both music and visuals. My songs blend country, pop, and rock influences with personal and nostalgic lyrics that reflect my journey.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication from EAFIT University in Medellín, a Master’s in Illustration and Animation from ESDesign Barcelona, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Professional Communication at The University of Tampa.
As a communicator, I specialize in brand identity, digital marketing strategies, social media, and visual design. As an illustrator, I’m detail-oriented, versatile, and deeply driven by storytelling. And as a music artist, I aim to connect with those who’ve experienced growth through challenges, heartbreak, or change.
